I used a different mic setup for 12. I was trying to minimize background noise a little, to reduce the amount of cleaning up I had to do later. Let me know what you think of the sound quality of that one. I did the same thing for 13, so hopefully it's not too bad.

Any difference in "the sound" is small and forgotten about within seconds of listening to the second episode. If it reduces your postproduction time then great!

Chapter 13: A Sound

Ready for PL

The funny thing is that, as I was recording this chapter, in the middle of the night, in a quiet house where everyone else was sleeping, an unearthly whistling noise suddenly started up, and I couldn't tell where it was coming from. Turns out, it was air escaping from an empty jug in the kitchen!

Chapter 16 is recorded. I probably should have waited, honestly. My choir is doing a special event this weekend, and my voice is a little torn up from singing today and yesterday. Two more performances tomorrow. But I may record 17 tomorrow, if I'm feeling up to it. It's a bit long, but no Scottish.
