Hi Simon,
Chaps 18 through 20 are all Pl OK!
Well somewhat wordy but there's something happening and the characters are reacting to it. Super readings

Betty -

I don't know that my reading is 'super' - but thank you, anyway!

Two more for you:

Anna / Betty -

There seems to be a slight glitch in the works: I can't change the status of Chapter 24 from 'Assigned' to 'Ready for PL' for some reason.

I hope this is easy to solve -

Simon,
I was able to change the status of chap 24 to Ready for PL. Sometimes the system is a little cranky and waiting a little while solves the problem. Anyway chapter 23 is PL OK! I'll PL chap 24 tomorrow as I'm going out shortly.

Hi,
Chapter 24 is PL OK!

That was a dramatic chapter. Things are moving along now. :)

Betty - and Anna -

And here are the last two! :D (I've got a bit of a cold so my voice sounds a bit deeper than usual, I think.)

Chapter 25 (14:24)

https://librivox.org/uploads/lezer/innershrine_25_king_128kb.mp3

Chapter 26 (10:25)

https://librivox.org/uploads/lezer/innershrine_26_king_128kb.mp3

Phew! Not my favourite book, by a long chalk. Too convoluted and too wordy. Never mind.

I'm next going to tackle another Arnold Bennett (I've done several of his and enjoy his writing) so if you - and of course Anna - would be interested in helping me again I would be very grateful. I'll post it in the New Projects forum in due course.

I've written a brief opening quote, Anna, which I hope is OK. Do you need anything else from me?

Meanwhile, many thanks to you both for your help here. It seemed to go very smoothly - partly due to Wave Pad Sound Editor I now use which is much easier.

Hi Simon,
Looks good, thanks. This has gone very quickly.
I'll keep an eye on the Launch Pad, but I will be making a long journey early next week, so may not be around for a day or 2. But there are always plenty of MCs around, I think.

Hi,
Chapters 25 and 26 are both PL OK. :) I agree that this story was very wordy but that resolution in the last chapter was very quick. Very well read. Congratulations on another solo.

Cheers,
