Ah, had a spare moment this morning.

These are absolutely delightful, Linny :9:

This will be perfect for mothers to play for their children. You style is perfect for this. I look forward to listening to the rest of the chapters.

Thank you, Larry! Wonderful news.

I'll see how much I can get done next week. Folks will be spending a couple of days with me but hopefully I'll have enough quiet time.

Chapter 3 is ready. 4 is recorded and I should be able to edit tonight or first thing in the morning.

It's been a long time since I read to a little one. The style might not be well received by some but they are making me smile. :D

These are both PL OK!

I think your style is superb, and just the way I would read to my grandkids.

I have not forgotten about this project. Right now my days are filled with lots of noise. My neighbors are having exterior construction done. In the evening the other neighbor is home and her ac air handler REALLY needs to be fixed.

Finding that quiet time is one of our greater challenges, isn't it? Right now neighbors are having a furniture delivery. If the water main repair gets any closer .... not to mention landscapers, garbage trucks and the nearby local airport. Ah, for a real studio . . . .

Oh, don't even get me started on lawn care. It's a long held dream that they are all done on the same day. Even 2 days. <Sigh> It will never happen and if it did there will always be the golf course in my backyard.

Thank you both for understanding. Hopefully, this weekend I'll be able to read. The ac neighbor is a grandmother. I'm hoping the family takes her out for the day. :D

It turns out that if I get up at 4:30 then I can almost complete a chapter before the air handler comes on again. I can't even imagine what her electric bill must be. When I go for a walk I can hear this thing three houses up the block. Maybe it's not just an air handler but a homing beacon. :hmm:

Anyway, chapter 5 is ready. I had to process it two different ways and then paste it all together. The patch is at 13:36 with "Hello, old Scout". I'm hoping I got it close enough that you don't notice the difference. Please let me know.

Sounds great to my, Linny. Totally seamless.

I'm thinking of the old Simon and Garfunkel song . . . "Sounds of Silence," wasn't it?

Chapter 6 is ready. 7 is recorded but I don't think I'll get to the editing/processing until tomorrow.

EDIT: OK, that was just silly of me. Chapter 7 is also ready.
