Chapter 6 PL OK marked so in MW

Now I will continue listening to Cynthia Wakehams Money and my knitting, while trying to ignore the light cover of snow that fell last night! You would probably be amazed if you knew how many hundred thousand stitches I have knit while listening to you (and a couple others) :D

Hey, we have something in common: listening to Richard usually has me in stitches too!

Seriously, there have been plenty of times when I have started up one of his recordings and said, "Read to me, Richard".

Section 7 PL Notes

@ 14:58 The word Job's in the phrase ' Job's comforter' is pronounced with a long 'O', from the Job in the bible.
( I looked it up because it just sounded odd to me)
'Job's comforter: a person who discourages or depresses while seemingly giving comfort and consolation.'

Well, they are out of the deadfall though I don't believe it was accomplished in an hour. Writers do take liberties.

Do you mean that everything I have ever read in my entire life might not be true? Wow!

Well, no, I hadn't any such thought. But, I have lived in the woods, 'off the grid' and know that nothing gets done quickly, even with a chainsaw, and she had only a hatchet!

Section 10 PL Notes

@ 15:18 omitted '"Oh," she laughed,' from

"Oh," she laughed, "I never thought of that, and it is so simple. I shall manage all right now."
