Section 1s is now up -- a single chapter running to 52+ minutes. I hope that's going to be as long as they come.

PS Not that I mean to give anything away, but keep your eye on Madame Merle.

Sections 14 (chap. 20) and 15 (chaps. 21-22) are now up. Section 15 is rather long; chap. 21 is only 16 minutes, so I though I would tack on chp. 22, and that runs about 42 min. I hope that's not too much.

Sections 16 and 17 are now up -- chaps. 23-26. Chapter 27 is next, and though I don't know how long it will take to read it, I think I'll restrict the next section -- no. 18 -- to this one chapter, since it's the end of volume I.

Section 18 is now up. That's chap. 27 of the Portrait, and it brings to an end vol. i, at least of the 1908 New York edition which I'm reading from. I didn't mention the vol. number in the reading, since it seems to be relevant only to the printed work. Chap. 28 at the beginning of vol. ii keeps going exactly where vol. i leaves off.

18 PL OK.

Perhaps the title and/or summary could indicate that the recording includes both volumes.

Yes, that's a good idea. I'll note in the summary that the volume break comes after chap. 27. And now section 19 (chaps. 28-19) is up. I had to make some changes here before uploading the final file, and though I'm pretty sure I got them all, if anything sounds odd please let me know.
