Many thanks. That's a great relief, but I hope it doesn't happen again. Especially on such a long section!

Section 30 is up -- two chapters. This also came through as mono. I'm still mystified as to how 27 went stereo. But the trick seems to me to be tht if something comes up stereo, and you change it to mono (using the instructions Dave sent). don't try to save it because it won't let you save it as ,mp3. Just cancel instead of saving, and upload the mono file.

30 PL OK.

I may have confused the issue by telling you to "save" the mono file. Actually to create an mp3 file you have to use the "export audio" command. Why one and only one file was stereo is and likely will remain a mystery.

Sections 32-34 are now up. The last is a bit long, I'm afraid; the result of James juxtaposing a chapter that runs just about 20 minutes with one that runs a bit over 40.
And now, if you've been tempted to forget Mme. Merle, it's time to remember her again.

Sections 35 and 36 are now up. I've read section 37, which is chapter 55-- the last -- and will give it a listen and then post it. And I will come up with a new description for the book.
