Sappho 3 ready to go!

I am sorry, these "finishing school teachings" are possibly not quite as interesting as the raging slambook of Girl Friends. Let this be the last of life advice in this collection. :D

3 is PL okay.

I could listen to these over and over, they're so nicely read.

Plaidsicle, thanks so much for these kind and encouraging words, which take away that solo feeling of reading into a big echoing void. :)

ha!

just one note for chapter 6:
at 6:47, the text has "Go not, go not!" but I only heard one "Go not." it doesn't matter a lot to the sense, but since it's poetry I thought I'd mention it just in case.

and chapter 7 is all okay except you need "End of The Poems of Sappho" at the very end.

only 2 more left! what will you go on to read then, and can I come PL whatever it is for you?

Ah, this is perfect, thanks so much. I will make these fixes soon. I have gotten in the awful habit of assuming EVERY repeat is a re-take and cutting out all but one, even though this is a dumb thing to think.

Oh Plaidsicle, that would be just wonderful, really. It really has been fun having you DPL. :9:

The next will be a hard pick; where else can you find a collection that's kind of provocative and scintillating, not to mention downright camp at times, pulled part from ancient far-east Ionia and part from some writer's overheated imagination, published before 1923??

One more, surprisingly ... :hmm:

Erotika/Dithyrambs
https://librivox.org/uploads/carolin/poems_04_sappho_128kb.mp3 18:45

This one is kind of long (dur), but it probably has the broadest range of tone in the collection, so hopefully it will entertain.

Now the end is truly much more nigh .... ! Although I have some small things to ponder for the last section. This indecision being responsible for that section being the last.

And now, off to fix those silly things I left out of the previous sections.

for spot PL around 6:40ish. (It's a little sooner than before because I shortened up the intro to be consistent with other chapters.)

for spot PL at end, if you wouldn't mind!
