This chapter features some of Lindsay's most evocative writing... and some pretty nasty racial politics. I'll be honest: some of this stuff was hard to say with a straight face. I might have to include a disclaimer in the plot summary.

I'll admit I'm a little fatigued with this project and kinda have to force myself to record it by this point. I don't think I realized what a difficult undertaking this would be. But I also want to finish this up so I can finally work on something else... and I think it's high time I put this one to bed. So I'm gonna try to spend this week getting this one into the catalogue. My apologies to both of you for the wait. I've just been so, so, so burned out by this book.
