Thanks so much!

Having problems with my computer and the microphone wanting to auto-mute so won't be able to record anything more until I figure this out.

Will be taking it in to the pro's to fix if I don't find a solution by Monday.

Well, I fixed the problem of the auto-muting and the next day my computer died completely. Currently on an old beater laptop while mine is in for repairs (or possible replacement) but I'm sorry, no recording for at least a week, maybe more.

I am hoping they can fix mine so I don't have to set up a new one with all my programs and personal touches. GRRR!

I had a chapter recorded and had just finished editing it too. I was thinking of rerecording it because I wasn't really happy with it and then *pouf* ...

Will check in again as soon as I have *A* computer ready for recording.

I might just have to set this old beast up, as old and cumbersome as it is ... at least it's reliable.

Thanks for the update! Sorry to hear about the crash. :( It's never fun to be forced onto a different computer.

.. and I am being forced to shop for a new computer .. boo that! They can't buy parts for mine (less than a year old???) so they can't repair it. WTH?

hi all, sorry for the long delay between recordings. I am still sorting out computer issues. This old one I am using can't be rigged up for recording because it has too many issues with audio (now I remember why I bought a new one even though this one was still working)

It's working as a temp but no more. I had sent my new one away for fixing but it came back with the same problems. I finally found someone local who diagnosed it and ordered parts. With luck I will be up and running in a week or two at the latest (if their diagnostics were correct and they are actually fixing the true problem.) If they can't fix it I am biting the bullet and buying a new one.

Fingers crossed.

*whew* .. ok after much delay and fussing about I am up and running again and will start recording again next week. YAY!! I'm going to have to listen to all the previous chapters and try to get my mojo back. It's been so long I've forgotten it all.

Just realized section 7 is 32 + minutes and I only left 5 seconds at end of recording. Is that ok or do I need to make it 10?

That's OK. We've gotten rid of the requirement for 10 seconds for files over 30 minutes. All files can have 5 seconds of silence.

ETA: I just realized that sections 7, 8 and 9 have different intro than the rest. I'll redo them, but it's just the intro needing the "part 1" added.

Let me know when you re-upload the files. I should have caught it on 7.

7, 8 and 9 have all been reloaded. Just the intro was changed, nothing else. The magic window has been updated with the new file link.
