Anyone notice that?
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!
There is no problem. Please possess your soul in patience. It's a big project and will take a long time to finish

Peter,
There seems to be something wrong with the upload of Section 68. I can't access it.

(Section 69 is fine and I'll do that tomorrow.)

Thanks, Gill; I've no idea what happened to 68. I've reuploaded and it seems to be fine now.

PL for Section 69:

A few background noises almost throughout - maybe one sweep of noise cleaning would help.

26:58 Loud background noise (passing traffic?) between last two paragraphs, after "fellow-creatures." and before "It appears to me …." p395 Column 2

PL for Section 68:

15:13 Repeat of "You shall go to a" p390 Col 2 line 14

Somewhat obtrusive noises, often between sentences, so just cleaning required:
8:51 between "inn yard" and "and a few" p395 Col 2, line 24.
16:23 after "trowser straps" p390 Col 2 Para 4 line 3
20:56 between "&c" and "is of second-hand" p391 Col 1, 11 lines from bottom
23:09 before paragraph beginning "Among the belt..." p391 Col 2 Para 3

Yes, I can feel the end approaching. I really must find out how to process my file for Audible. I suspect I've already had a contact from someone who is grabbing my files before the project is completed.

Section 70 uploaded.

70 runs from the start of col 1, p 397 "The feeling of the blind ..."
and ends just before "There was a blind woman of his acquaintance ..." half way down col 1, p402

Total so far, approx. 42:50:25

PL for Section 70:

10s loud "gasp" after your name.
2:57 repeat of "some of the force" p397 Col 1, 13 lines form bottom
5:19 "one up" sounds like "one uff" [by Ball's pond] p397 Col 2, 2/3 down
18:58 repeat of "and takes" p399 Col 2, 9 lines form bottom
21:17 "Lord JOHN Grosvenor" said for "Lord ROBERT Grosvenor" p400 Col 1 about halfway
34:33 Loud "break" between phrases "towards him, ... " and "he smiled ..." (2nd last sentence read)

A fair few noises throughout especially the first part - slight noise cleaning would help.

Thank you very much, Gill; I hope they're all sorted. I took a sample of "silence" at around two minutes for the noise reduction, so it should have done what you suggest. Do tell me if it wasn't sufficient.

Section 70 reuploaded.
