Gill, another delay, I'm afraid. I had read the Holmes part in a DR collection of Sherlock Holmes stories, but the reader of Dr Watson/narrator has decided to drop out, and cancer caught up with Beth, who was the BC ... so I've been bringing the remaining three stories together, and we're waiting on a new reading of the Watson part.
The demands have eased a little now, while we wait, so I'll be back here. I have the next section three-quarters done, so it shouldn't be long.

Hi, Peter.
That's no problem for me. I'm just back from a week away, in fact.
Thanks for keeping me in the loop and hope you the Holmes project finished soon.
I hadn't much 'direct' contact with Beth but love her recordings and had just listened to one of hers when I realised she was gone a couple of weeks ago.

Here you go, Gill:
Section 81: From "Of the Swag Barrowmen ....", pdf 496-501 / text 447-452
Total so far, approx. 48:33:59
The last erratum in the book is at about 16.15 ... line 58, col 1,p 498/449 ... for 1190 read 1690
... and somewhere in the rat-catchers' section, he mentions the "gripe" of a rat. I thought at first it was a typo, but when I checked, it's an archaic form of "grip", so I left it.
Section 82 will run From "Of the Street Sellers of Rhubarb ..." col 2, pdf 501 / text 452

Thanks, Gill; edited and re-uploaded .... you could have phrased that a little less worryingly!
The mistake fell between two blocks that I had recorded and edited. I'm finding that I have to record in blocks of not more than about 15 minutes before my voice starts to break down ... it may be a side effect of one of the drugs that I'm prescribed. I'll talk to my GP about it when this coronavirus business has settled (assuming he/she and I survive!)

Oh! Sorry, Peter. Yes, it was technically a paragraph but just one sentence.
