Joe Strong on the Trapeze; Or, The Daring Feats of a Young Circus Performer, by Vance Barnum
Joe Strong was a favorite hero and could ride any horse, juggle most anything, and climb buildings, all with a steel reserve. He was the child of unique parents: a mother that rode trick horses and a magician for his father. However, in Horatio Alger fashion, by age five, he was without either parent. So he grew up in a circus and Joe Strong on the Trapeze relates the time in his life when he joins the circus! (Summary by Gerald A Moe)

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the number of languishing projects on our server, we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't recorded anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process unless you are the BC or PL. Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Note to MC: For the first book in this series we used the file names joestrong_##_barnum_128kb.mp3 because the entire title is too long. I believe we need different file names for thos project to avoid confusing the two. I suggest joestrongtrapeze_##_barnum_128kb.mp3

can you (or I) edit the description at the top? i was not paying enough attention when I was doing copy/paste from the last project. The title should be Joe Strong on the Trapeze instead of Joe Strong the Boy Wizard.

Chapter 1 ready for PL
Length 16:45

Just a heads up, I'v switched thing around a little, so when you don't hear "read by Gerald Moe" in the introduction, that is not a mistake
