Dear Dave
I am not sure if you are still hiking across a mountaintop, but here is Chapter 80, in which the romance between Johnny Eames and Miss Demolines reaches its thrilling height. Actually there are numerous summits to be told, as the length, 27.53, testifies.

Are those the same Badlands as in the famous Martin Sheen movie?? If so they will be far away from Anthony Trollope creature comforts!

Dear Dave
I am not sure if you are right there in the midst of the Badlands, but anyway here is Chapter 81 from the rather more comfortable and cosy world of TrolloppeBarsetshire. This is a very short chapter at 12.54, but one of this author's best, I just hope I have done it some small justice....
Best Steve

:( Nice read. Off to the Badlands (before they get too hot for hiking)!

Dear Dave
You may still be trekking the badlands, and if you are this might provide some suitable comfort from the harshness of the land - Trollope's final big chapter (the last two are small codas....) and at last a happier moment in the tragic life of Josiah Crawley... all best Steve.

This book is like comfort food to me. :)
Next week I may be "off the grid" for several days.

I know that feeling which I share. I guess off the grid means you are still in the badlands.... Thanks as always Steve

Hi Dave

Dear Dave

Herewith, Chapter 83 (16.20); and possibly later today I may have the final chapter uploaded - or if not it will be on Thursday. It is very short so should not take me long to edit!

12.37

The end of a long eighteen month journey we have both taken with dear Mr Trollope and if you will permit me I will (major PLs apart) raise a metaphorical glass of champagne and clink it with yours across the Atlantic. Thank you so much for helping me through this memorable Barsetshire experience...

Very best Steve

84 PL OK. Finished!

18 months! It feels like we just started (easier for me to say). I'm looking forward to listening to this on my next trip. I don't usually listen to books I've PL'd but this will be an exception. Thank you for recording it.
