Slight problem; my mic is fried. I've ordered a new one, but it probably won't be here before the end of april, so until then there will be no recording from me.

Oh dear. Sorry to hear that. How will you feed your addiction?????? Just kidding. We're coming along slowly but surely on this project and I'm so pleased with everything so far, Kristin. I'll look forward to editing more sections whenever you send them in. Just please check in every few weeks to say hi. Thanks.

My computer has stopped sending me stuff from LV, so I'm checking in on all my projects. Hi, all.

So why does your computer not like LV ? Your compute needs a good talking to! tsk tsk.

I don't know, but I've received notice back from all my projects now so hopefully it's fixed. And it looks like not much has been happening in my neck of the woods. Too many solos, not enough group involvement. A mix of both is probably a better formula for me.

Here we go, got my mic:)
(Also, the mw is very much out of date, and I don't have access)
(Also, Michele, just sent you section 22, and by my count, I've also sent you 20 and 21)

You will probably hear where I have edited, because this is a different set-up. I don't really know how to fix it, any suggestions?

Hi, Kristin, I took a listen to the edits made with your new mike, and it seems to me it has a little less "gravelly texture". I experimented by adding Effects/Bass and Treble/Treble+8. It helped in some places. I also added Bass+2 on a few. Gain -2 to offset increased volume when adding bass. I also played with lowering the pitch -.25 and -.5. That helped here and there.

On new files it won't matter, of course. So glad you're back in the saddle. I'll start editing again.

Michele, do you want me to add Kristingj for access to the MW? I can put her in as co-BC. Probably not, but though I'd ask. :D

I think we already decided no on this. I just need to catch up on the MW. Will do soon, as I'll be in New Orleans tomorrow.

Sections 15 and 16 are PL OK!

EDIT: I've also added the missing times for some of the sections in the MW and added the new files - it's more convenient for me to listen from the MW. We don't yet have the corrections for Section 12, as far as I can see.

Slight issue with number 17:
20:36 which was to terminate with a grand entrance in the Rue Neuve-Saint-Augustin right in the middle of the frontage. I hear new-voe, pronounced elsewhere knee-ev.
I'm pretty sure I'm pronouncing that as I have always done, and I listened to the first section, and it's sounds the same, so...

Section 15, it kinda sounds like I'm in a tin can, which i don't know why, and the edits are VERY obvious because of this. It might be an idea to re-do the whole thing? Michele, Beth, both of, thoughts?

Section 12 was uploaded with these

Elizabby wrote:Section 12 PL Notes:

6:58 pronunciation "draft" of the candles. I know it looks different but that's how you say it.
7:32 pronunciation "impudent" stress on the first syllable please.
9:12 "row" again - the version you've said here is correct for a "row" on the river, but they are in a restaurant now having a yelling match, which is "r-ow" sounds like "owl".
Hmm, I can still hear all of these - are you sure the correct version is uploaded?
