Maria, Blessed Easter! :9:
As you can see, my "reappearance", -- my "resurrection from the dead" --, has been slow and painstaking! :mrgreen:
In fact, this submission finally edits a recording that I made on September 29th -- if St Michael the Archangel can help you to believe that! :roll:
It represents the last of my previous recordings -- I am up-to-date! -- except that it means I have nothing in reserve and need to start recording again! :thumbs:
My production will be modest until the end of May, once my university exams are over. :(
God-willing I will pick up the pace in June & July -- with the hope of finishing this project by the end of August, despite my recurring lulls this past year. 8-)
Also, even though the project calculates that I am at "45 percent completed", I actually know that I am two-thirds done given that I already recorded the brunt of the longer questions at 6, 8 and 12 articles -- whereas many that are left only have 4 or 2 articles... :wink:
mscllc :hmm:
PS. In part, my renewed activity is fruit of a "thank you" that I received on another project from one of our listeners who is waiting for me to finish what is left! :shock:

Well, this is a pleasant surprise! :clap:

So good to see some progress, however small! Thank you notes are definitely a motivation, aren't they?

Question 164 is PL OK, and I see that you also uploaded 165. I am listening to that right now!

A Blessed Easter to you as well! Hoping there will be more to listen to soon!

Yes, Maria, I wrote a message for question 165, but forgot to push "send" -- so I found it this morning when I re-awoke the computer, except that the message was lost since my inactivity meant that I was no longer logged on. That also meant I went to sleep before uploading the other brief question that I had also managed to record and edit, here it is:

ST 2-2 166 Of Studiousness
https://librivox.org/uploads/m8b1/summa_theologica2_11_129_aquinas_128kb.mp3
13:03

On this project I expect to proceed in this order:
Questions 167-170, since only four questions remain to finish "The Virtue of Temperance" (about 2h05m of recording + 3h editing);
Questions 129-140, since only twelve questions remain to finish "The Virtue of Fortitude" (about 4h of recording + 6h editing);
Questions 72-122, where the remaining fifty-one questions under "The Virtue of Justice" represent the brunt of what remains in this project (24h45m + 36h).
Since I re-listen to each recording, but stop to fix mistakes, the editing obviously takes more time than the actual recording.
So I will be done in about 75 hours from now! (of which 30 hours of recording, either very late at night or very early in the morning because of the noisy street beside me!) :?

That said, this project will be punctuated from time-to-time with what I record for the other remaining project, "The Saviour: His Incarnation and His Salvific Acts" (I estimate about 31 hours of recording remaining there, actually the project that the listener who thanked me is waiting for!) :shock:
Most of my activity will happen in June-July though, after my exams! :roll:

166 is PL OK!

You are brave to figure out exactly how long it will take you. I think if I was recording it, I would prefer not to know exactly how high the mountain is before starting! :-) But it does give you a definite goal to work towards!

But then again, considering how much you have recorded already on all the projects combined, 75 hours probably is not much! :D

Maria, :wink:
Another ten days whizzed by... :roll:
Gladly this article was brief enough to record and edit together this evening. :)
One down, seventy to go! :shock:
