Hi. Back in August 2014 I had to suspend On Melissus, Xenophanes, and Gorgias by Aristotle until 2017 to wait until 50 years had passed from the death of one of the translators. The recording is complete. I just need to restart the project, upload the audio and cover for it. Would it be easier for me to start a new project or is there some way to resurrect the old one? Thanks.

It's moved out of mothballs and back in the Launch Pad. viewtopic.php?f=28&t=53201

It'll need a new MC (or for Phil to reclaim it). I'm not sure you can get into the MW just at this moment, but otherwise it's all there.

EDIT: I've merged your new thread in with the old one.

Aw, what the heck. I'll MC. :)

Did you want to pre-claim the cover?

Thanks Tricia. Yes please pre-claim the cover. Would you please delete the prior 13 sections. This project will just be On Melissus, Xenophanes, and Gorgias.

Wait - what? Only one section? I thought from the prior discussion it was going to be more than that. See from about THIS POST and the next few posts.

If you're going to do the other pseudo-Aristotle works from this text link, it'd be better to put it all in the one project.

All right. You talked me into it Tricia. Actually I had forgotten that there were all the other books because I hadn't seen the project in so long. I'll chip away at this but can't make good on my boast that it was already complete.

Section 2 is uploaded and I revised the name of Section 14. I'm planning to complete this at a leisurely pace of about one section per month. When I get half way I'll advertise for a PL.

I'd like to PL this if you still need a DPL. how awesome that you came back to this after 3 years!

section 2 is PL okay. I did want to ask though, what about reading the little "preface" note at the beginning? as a regular listener, I'd find it interesting and informative. up to you though!

Thanks Plaidsicle. I've gotten in the habit of not reading prefaces because sometimes they are significantly longer than the book itself. I agree these ones are pretty short so I'll read the prefaces for the remaining sections and if I get really really motivated I might go back at the end and add prefaces to the sections I've already completed.
