I don't want to try tackling some of those Celtic names again any time soon!

Hi Dave...

I've just noticed that during one of my long absences you've become an Admin. Many, many congratulations! I'll bet it keeps you busy, though...

Cheers,
Paul

19 PL OK.

Thanks....and a bit more stress. Is chapter 11 going to be just one section (i.e. no parts)?

That's the plan - I ought to update the section title to reflect that.

I'd originally planned to do all the chapters as two sections, but when I did a word count Book XI only contained 2950 words altogether - for comparison, X.1 was just below and X.2 was just above 3400. I reckoned that splitting XI would lead to very short sections.

That said, I've not recorded it yet so it's not too late to talk me back into doing it as two sections... :D

Sounds like a good plan. Don't forget to change the title in the MW.

I'm slightly frustrated about chapter 9 - on the original recording there was a loud metallic screech on the recording lasting over a minute that wasn't there in the real world so I figured it would be easier to re-record the whole chapter. The re-recording then sounded as if it had been made in a hall (though the setup was the same). I've kept the second version on the basis that, since the chapter was Geoffrey dropping out of the narrative to add his commentary on events, it didn't matter if it sounded slightly different. I hope my microphone or interface hasn't developed a fault though...
