Section 8 is PL OK! The volume is a bit high (92,8). Great reading!

Sarah,

It's been almost 6 months since you have recorded a section for this project. I'm going to put it "on hold" and remove myself as MC. When you are ready to work on it again, you can ask any admin and they can pull it out of storage and move it back to the launch pad for you.

You can also "abandon" the project, which opens it up for someone else take it on as a solo or group. There's no embarrassment in not completing it yourself - tastes and interests change over time. Again, any admin can make that switch for you.

Sarah's response:
WoollyBee wrote:Hi MaryAnn,

Please leave this in "On Hold" for me... I'm definitely still interested in working on it! I am preparing for my National Latin Exam currently and I have not had time to do any recording. I will record a couple of sections after the NLE and ask an admin to move it back for me.

Thanks!

Thanks! I'm Bobbsey Twinned out for a while, and this looks like fun. (I have two more Mother story books lined up after this one.)

I'm working on setting this up for you. :)

EDIT: OK, I think this is set up, and the older files moved to my folder.

I had hoped to get to listen to just a smidge of the first chapters so I can see how they "read." Is that possible?

Here's Chapter 7 at 3:32.

https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/motherstoriesfromoldtestament_07_anonymous_128kb1.mp3

I compressed it to get it out of the red zone, took out a couple of bits of clicky noise, one or two larger than usual spaces, and put it through MP3Gain.

She is a lovely reader! I won't try to match the reading, but hope to be able to do the book justice and git 'er dun!
