I just discovered I recorded the wrong chapter for Section 10 - it is actually section 17.
I will fix the intro and re-upload with the correct file name.

Hi Patti

One omitted passage, occurring at approx. 09:16:

… that he might not be disturbed by my [agitation. I collected all my resolution to support me in this affecting scene. I saw my dear lord in] extremity.

Read as "disturbed by my [ ... ] extremity."

I'm hoping to take up the story again this week, if I can.

Best wishes

OK - thanks.
It must be missing from my text. I didn't read directly from Gutenberg, I copied it over to Googledocs and separated it into sections. I found another passage missing, or actually, out of order in this section. Rats!

I'm hoping this is the only case, but henceforth, I will check my section against the book before I upload.

OK - so, not only did I miss that passage when I originally recorded it, I also missed it when I listened during edit, AND I missed it again when I was checking my text to see if it was missing (it wasn't ). Somehow my brain just refused to acknowledge it.

Geez..... :hmm:

Anyhow, fixed now and uploaded. Onward and upward!

Hello Patti

Section 11 PL all OK.

In my own next section I have to do a passage in sea-dog dialect, which is keeping me away from the microphone. I always think I'll forget how; but usually it comes back to me after a few false starts, and drinking a cup of strong cocoa helps to put gravel in the voice.
