Hi Arlene, if you're still assigned to this one. Here's Chapter 14 for a proof read. I still really like this project but am being a real slowpoke. Eventually will get at least the first section of it done. Do you think it's still a worthwhile endeavor?

Yes, it is worthwhile! It doesn't matter how long it takes. Yours isn't the longest project I've worked on.

As I pasted the file name into the magic window, I realized it was missing the _128kb at the end. Can you correct the name and re-upload? I'm not sure what that does to the back end. Thanks!

Hi Arlene,

I was forwarded a note on the thank a reader message board (through Admin team member Ice Queen) which ended with:

"Finally, the file available for Section 9 for Lucretia Borgia seems to be, actually, the same file for Section 8. That is to say, although the details listed for Section 9 here indicate different length etc than Section 8, both files, when played or downloaded, provide the same reading (of Section 8: Book 1, Chapter 8, "Family Affairs.") Is Chapter 9 available?"

I have the mp3 file of Chapter 9 but maybe I didn't upload it correctly at the time. Let me know if I should do so to correct the error.

It was just a question of an incorrect link in the MW. I corrected the link, all is fine.

In general, it would be wise for the DPL to use the links in the MW to listen, in particular for files that needed corrections. This way, these kind of avoidable errors can be avoided.

And in general, I'd like to point out again that we discourage people from downloading files from projects in progress...

I always listen from the link in the MW, and never from the one in the forums, for exactly that reason. Let me see if I still have the files I downloaded and if I can sort out what happened.

I can't tell for sure from the downloaded files what I did. I suspect that I overwrote the link to chapter 9 sometime after I listened to it. The cells on the page under the BC Admin link jump around in the browser I use, so I must not have been being careful enough. Apologies!
