What I have noticed most is the revisionist side of this book, dissenting from the magic of Macaulay’s narrative, a great read, if a guilty pleasure.

Traill is against the rabid partisanship of the ascendent Whigs against the Tories.

As for the Irish, the Glorious Revolution was anything but glorious for them.

A few words, "it was at first proposed, on principles which", are missing at 0:44 after "a portion of which".
