No pressure here, Maria. Sounds like you have a full plate and then some. Hope you get a breather soon!

Ah, at LOOOOONG last, here is section 13!

(length 11:04)

It feels good to actually have something to post after so long.
I hope to keep rolling along with this. A slow roll, given my schedule, but hopefully a steady one, without any more going AWOL!
Thanks for being so incredibly patient!

5:00 - "proper attention to important details" - there's a popping sound in this. Check it out and see what you think.

I'm planning on going out on the bike tomorrow. 8-)

Thank you for paying "proper attention to important details"! :D
Here's a new file with the popping sound hopefully gone! (file length unchanged).

It's gone. :) PL OK!

Good ride! 25 km / 15.5 miles, my first solo ride since last year. 8-) (I broke my ankle in February and got back on the bike less than a month ago.)

Oh, goodness! Broken ankle sounds like no fun at all. I'm glad you are recovered and back on your bike again!

Be back here with another section in about 2 weeks, if all goes well!

Well, I'm back -- (at long, LOOOONG last!)

Here is Chapter 14 - Tools and How to Use Them
https://librivox.org/uploads/knotyouraveragejo/bicyclingforladies_14_ward_128kb.mp3
Length 12:30

I don't know how to apologize for the long gap here. I've just been so occupied this past year, and LV fell through the cracks.
I hope to be more active in 2023!

15 PL OK!

I don't recall how picky you are with pronunciation. "Chamois" at 1:25 is usually pronounced "SHAM-ee". Just noting it, if you want to do anything with it. :)

I really should learn how to maintain my own bike, rather than having Kevin do it for me all the time. Especially when out on a solo ride, I really should learn how to fix a flat.
