More and more I'm getting to appreciate Dreiser. The quality of his writing equals the best I've ever read anywhere.

Dreiser weaves a tale, rich with scenery descriptions that are not over done, and characters that are believable! I am loving this one! Part 6 is PL OK!

Very poetic, but he left out the part about the poop they leave behind, sometimes bombarding people, as happened to me when we were touring in Spain.

These last 3 are generic; could be anywhere, not just about NYC. The next one looks to be quite a bit longer followed by some more short ones. No choice but to take 'em as they come.
