Thank you.

It's interesting to me how difficult it is to enunciate a technical vocabulary that I usually read silently rather than speak aloud.

I guess satellite space stations were seen as too cheap in their imaginations instead of a monumental moon base. I vaguely heard of this through the writings of arthur C Clarke where he became a firebrand critic of what he saw as naivety of the expense required

This was before the agreement in 1967 to declare space as belonging to all peoples. There was great pressure before this to be first on the moon and to be able to claim rights to it.

Lagging behind on my DPL projects again.
I thought I'd get more done last week when we were away with for a few days, but situation changed and all my time was taken with important family stuff. Tomorrow I'm doing service for a friend up north and we're staying overnight. But, this is on my list and I'll get to it as soon as I can.

Not to worry, friend. I've been ill and have got little done. No rush.

Good of you to be on the supply list, if that is what it is called in your tradition.

Oh, sorry to hear that you've not been well. Do take care.
Yes, we do use that term. We've been going up to help out some for several months now. The pastor is a long-time friend of ours, and is going to retire next month. We were offered to step in as an interim pastor for two years, but we have our own retirement plans (again) and will be taking off in our motorhome in the fall, visiting friends in Canada, Wisconsin, Minnesota, on through the Dakotas finally to Idaho and Oregon to visit with my brother and finally in southern California to spend the winter with my older daughter.
