Hi Pam,

I have two possible notes for you on pronunciation to double check, since you're pretty careful about pronunciation. Scottish names and place names are tough!

Erin

3.37-3.39, bottom p 212
...his sister, Lady Glamis...
https://forvo.com/search/Glamis/
Flagged for your ears to double check: There are four pronunciations here that are a bit closer to the pronunciation I’m more familiar with (one syllable, as if the I had dropped out, but I think I might have heard two syllables in this chapter).

9.37-9.42, bottom third p 215
...who carried off Mary from Linlithgow to Stirling Castle...
https://forvo.com/search/linlithgow/sco/
https://forvo.com/search/linlithgow/en/
As I heard the final syllable, it rhymed with ‘cow’, but usually is pronounced to rhyme with ‘know’ or ‘show’.
Off LV 25-28 March.

Hi Erin,

I checked Linlithgow before I pronounced it and I am satisfied that it is OK and I think I will just leave Glamis as it is.

Thanks,

Pam

Hi Pam,

All sections are PL OK. Very well done!

A note for future reference, even though I'll be the first to admit it's unlikely to come up again:
