Good reading, of course, but we need a bit more silence at the beginning and end.

I am so sorry for falling so behind on this! I will have more time to edit the remaining sections after the semester is over!

YOUR solo so no apologies needed. We're here just to support you, and you record at your convenience,

But, thanks for checking in. That helps us know that you are still working on this.

Enjoy the holidays!

okay, as predicted letter IX is sooo long. 66:03 minutes.

if my dear PLer sees a spot to split it, let me know. if not.... it's fine, right? it is just the fattest, longest, most repetitive of these letters. so many excerpts from reformed slaveholders!

Well, I'll take a look and listen.
Usually it is better to break these longer chapters into smaller parts, but this makes under the 72 min limit.
Bit under the weather and not able to record, but ears work just fine.

Well, First, the PL Report. Only one correction needed:

Repeat 1:00:36 – 1:00:48

If you want a suggestion for a break, you might consider a break at 30:49
The second part then would begin with: "I give thee now a letter from a gentleman in a South Western slaveholding State, to J. G. Birney."

You would need to record new intros and outros to reflect Part 1 and Part 2
And, it is easy to add a row to the MW and move it up to its place. The sections below automatically renumeber.
I can help with any of this.

But, if you want to keep it as one long Section, that is fine too.

thank you so much! I'll get that edit done as soon as I can.

and I'll think on whether to split it or not. it probably would make the whole set feel less imbalanced overall. thank you for your advice!

Just checking on this.
Edit still needed.
And, if you want to keep this as one long chapter, that's fine. It is still within the LV max of 72 minutes.

hello!
I think I will end up keeping it as one section-- it'll save the work of renumbering/rerecording for all the following sections that just need editing at this point.

sorry for my slowpokiness!
