Glad to hear your wife is doing well. It sounds like surgery isn't needed which is great. And I love the sound of your plans for the upcoming year - with an RV you don't have to worry about making reservations, other than maybe campgrounds. We were thinking of travelling down the southeast coast and visiting Georgia and the Carolina's in February, but not with this Omicron going on. Oh well, maybe early Spring - we shall see.

Uploaded 11-13. In section 13, the author mentions being near Seneca Lake and hearing of a woman physician. The college in Geneva that Elizabeth Blackwell went to is on Seneca Lake, so I got a kick out of that - if not Dr. Blackwell herself, I bet it was a graduate of that college as so few offered medical degrees to women.

Oh, such tears!

Boston was a big shock to me, too, coming from small towns in Oregon.
Drove in the fine Northeastern University for an interview, driving past it several times before realizing that there was no campus, just some buildings in the middle of the city. But, I've come to love it as a unique city with a lot of charm. Still, I'm happy here in the New Hampshire woods. And, hoping the big storm tomorrow brushes us lightly.

Yes, my wife is doing much better, just limping a bit and back to driving.

Don't remember my first day of gross anatomy and dissection being quite so traumatic, but we had a lot of support.

I suppose you're digging out from the storm too!

Sections 18 and 19 are PL OK
Section 17 just needs a volume adjustment.
Checker measures it at 84.9 dB

Think we got only 10 inches or so of snow with rain on top.

Thanks Larry. I always seem to record at low levels and then boost it to 88.0 when I'm done - I must have missed this one. If you find others that may be considered acceptable - but is considerably lower than 88 (i.e., in the 86 range), let me know and I'll adjust it to 88.

Yes, we got hit with snow - about 13 or 14 inches. Luckily we have a snowplow contract, so the driveway is cleaned out and all we have to do is shovel the walkway. Roads today are clear and dry - one of the benefits of living in an area that averages 100 inches of snow a season is that they are well equipped to deal with these types of storms. Luckily the winds didn't materialize the way they had been forecasted, so everyone kept their power.

Oh, and Boston.....how I love Boston. We are huge Red Sox fans so have gone to Fenway often. We've stayed in Cambridge and walked over that Bridge many a time. I love that it's a modern city, yet retains so much of it's history (the Common, the Granary Burying Ground, Faneuil Hall, etc). Haven't gone in almost 2 years and hope to visit this summer.

Glad to hear your wife is doing better and driving :D
