Hamilton let his full lawyer loose in 32; I feel he threw words more to overawe than to convince.
Not my favorite. But, it's done! :D

Then, in 33, I sense he seethes at the opposite arguers... so I did, too! :D
He was so exercised he apparently wrote a second time for the afternoon edition of the same day as the former.
I am AMAZED the man could pump these out daily, and that the poor typesetters could keep up with him!

Hamilton is teasing a discussion on how many people should constitute the Legislature, but no - then he resumes his discussion on taxes.
And I think he was not far-thinking enough. He assumes that representatives will, with few exceptions, be drawn from merchants, landholders, and professional classes. Today our merchants and landholders are both large corporations, and instead, we have the modern "professional" of "politician." Ah, poor us!

You get a break at this point. I'll be on a trip through Sunday.

Back, and have a new record for you! Hamilton has dipped and dipped his pen - so fired up he has forgotten how to END a sentence - and produced a monster of ... (drum roll) ... 173 words!!!

Anyway, I lived through it and so will you. Barely! :D

Madison finally gives his pen a workout in No. 37, and boy! He also is inflicted with the need for compound compound sentences! :D

Madison makes some pretty good arguments in No. 38, I think! :D

I'm not sure why establishing that the government would be republican in form was of particular concern - but here is a paper devoted to it. :D

I detect Madison is running out of gas ... or rather, of ink, because he restricts himself to sentences of not more than 115 words, this time, in #40! :D

The tirade in No. 41 feels redundant; I think much of the ground was covered elsewhere. :D

In No. 42 we find that the eventual end of slave importation was contemplated, if set 20 years in the future. :D
