Hehe! You're having fun.
Parts 4 and 5 are both PL OK
and 9 and 10 are queued. I'll keep hitting these in order in my DPL file folder, but if I get an onslaught of files from other projects, I'll alternate, since you're not drumming your fingers. ;D

Not drumming my fingers at all. I am working on another story by Poul Anderson, this one is a social commentary and funny called Snowball, no swordplay at all. Would you like to DPL? or is your plate full?
Sure, I can pick it up. We have a super low key weekend here - no fridge for three more weeks means zero cooking!

Thanks. No fridge? you mean you don't have a refrigerator? Of course that means ordering out, eh?
Yeah, our fridge died middle of September, and when we tried to buy one, found that every brand has factory backlogs of 3-10 months, depending on the brand. Fortunately, the one we wanted was on the shorter end of that wait! So we've been living out of the tiny dorm fridge the youngest had left behind when she got married. Holds milk, mayo, a pack of eggs, and 1 small leftovers container. Been giving local cafes a lot of support lately.

Well that is the first case I have heard of this supply backlog being an actual thing. I recommend Chinese, Lebanese, Italian and whate4ver you like. Order it all while you don't need to cook!LCaulkins wrote: ↑November 24th, 2021, 12:17 pm Yeah, our fridge died middle of September, and when we tried to buy one, found that every brand has factory backlogs of 3-10 months, depending on the brand. Part 6 is PL OK
Part 7, if it matters, has only 1/4 second of leading silence.

Nope, it does not matter to my projects. Anything less than a second is fine with me. (see my first post) Others stick to the odd formula of requiring half to a second so this is my own rule and should not be used outside of my projects. The internet may blow up, who knows?
lol!! Got it! Eh, let's have a little fun, anyway, and see if it does explode.

Fun audiobook!
Took me back to my young parenting days, watching Star Trek Voyager, when Tom Paris and Harry Kim loved their sci-fi role play on the holodeck.

IHey, thought of Star Trek Voyager too! Yes, it was a well written story but a bit anticlimactic when the author telegraphed the ending. The mention of Devil Powder stored in t he basement gave it all away for me instantly. The hardest part of this story was checking myself from automatically replacing the hero's name with Conan every time it came up !! The au thor did a great job however of disguising the motivation of the heroine. I kept thinking, well, maybe she's not so bad. Then, oh my, she is really evil. Then wait, she's kinda good. Then. Oh my, she is very very evil, the nasty witch. No, wait .......right up to the end. Thank you for being with me on this bloody but fun story. I think people will enjoy listening to it.
