Another chapter PL OK!

Ice storms here with short power outage (so far), but DPL of one of my projects in Oregon was without power for 2 1/2 days, and it is happening to some of our readers as far south as Houston, Texas, and I've hear of power outages even further south into Mexico. Record snowfalls in places like Greece and Russian, too. In short, a great deal of the North Hemisphere, it seems, in the grip of the polar vortex.

Thanks so much Larry,

Ooo, Tom, you are so fortunate in Florida :)

We have regular power outages here too, in fact, here at my office, we are on day 2 of no power. I have a laptop with a long battery life, fortunately, and fortunately we have power at home, so I charge it when I get home. I will work here at the office till about lunchtime, then go and work from home for the rest of the day.

We are off to celebrate our wedding anniversary (39 years phew!) next weekend (27th, 28th Feb), and i'm going to leave the office at lunchtime - we have booked at a little resort about an hour's drive away, so a nice short break, and we won't have to travel too far. It's on the canals, so we hope to do a bit of canoeing on Saturday, and then go out for a great supper at a wonderful seafood restaurant in the area.

Please take care everyone.

Leanne

I may not get to this right away. Really overloaded with trying to finish projects for the March to the Finish drive. But, I won't let this languish long.

Hi Larry and Tom,

I'm so sorry for being so quiet, things been a tad hectic my side. I'm hoping to begin recording section 37 in the next day or 2 (that will be the halfway mark), I can't wait to get back into recording. I was facing possible retrenchment, but after it hanging over my head for 2 months, thankfully managed to escape that. My son came to stay with us for a while, which was absolutely great, just busy busy.

Hope that you are both keeping well.

Please take care!

Blessings
Leanne

We all understand busy!

We added a new grand daughter to our household. Thrilling, but a lot of time demands. Her mother is still working from home, as am I. We all share a house here. My wife have separate space downstairs. Older daughter was here for a short visit and we have a trip planned in July to visit her in California and in August I will be going to Oregon to visit my brothers.

It will be good to hear your voice again.
