I guess that means they're twice as error free.

That first chapter was so short, that's why I did 3 this time! :D

Ready for spot check. 8-)

So, how shall I pronounce the title of the next chapter?

Chapter 8 PL OK

 Yeah, that one nearly knocked me off my chair with a laugh!

Let's see, my 1998 Websters American Family Dictionary gives both pronunciations with the emphasis on bak first.
And, the 1953 Webster's American Dictionary for Boys and Girls... a SCHOOL dictionary puts the emphasis on bak as well. Sooo, I guess my upbringing was fallacious. (oops, better get my head out of the dictionary  )

Ha! The 2004 Merriam Webster Dictionary gives preference to my way. 8-)

Two more chapters up!

(Gee - I seem to do these on Tuesdays. LOL!)

The verses referred to in these two chapters are Habakkuk 2:14-15. The one that garners the most attention is verse 15. ;)

If I pronounce Habakkuk wrongly, I think it's only ever in the mouth of Tode, so I will claim it's due to his ignorance.

Chapter 10 PL OK

Yep, the pronunciation sounds just fine. :)

I have to point out that one KNEW when the customer asked Tode/Toad (sp) to pass the wine just BEFORE reading the "figure" that it was a foreshadowing. ;-)

Ha ha! Yes!

And it's Tode, short for Theodore. ;)

Chapter 11 PL OK

Yes, you do tend to put the files up around Tuesdays... generally. That's when I start thinking there might be a couple.

BTW, I WAS going to ok chap 10 in the MW when I finished up chap 11. But somebody already snuck in there and did it. :P  I had listened through 3/4 of ch 11 when I posted but was so anxious to make my observations.... then put off finishing listening because I wanted to delay not having more. I just finished listening to Red River of the North series -around 15 or so books- and it's pretty quiet around here. Probably time to check out your suggestions. :)

Chapters 12 & 13 PL OK
and it's only Tuesday.

Lots of interesting stuff in this book. Including the very end of Ch 13. Yep, that's often how meaty conversations end.
