COMPLETE: The Common Law by Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. -jo
I think you're right about the chapter name in section 1; I'll get on that shortly.
I can't hear the stumble at 42:21. Here's the sentence from the text if it helps, "Hence it is, that, in all indictments for homicide, until very lately it has been necessary to state the instrument causing the death and its value, as that the stroke was given by a certain penknife, value sixpence, so as to secure the forfeiture."
Thanks again!

Welcome to the project Phoebe. You should now have access to the MW.

Section 5 PL notes:
First of all, all of these are super small notes. The recording is super clear and understandable! Good job!
~18:58: The “which [175] explained,” is left out in the recording of the “On the other hand, so far as the possessory actions are still allowed to bailors, it is not on the ground that they also have possession, but is probably by a survival, which [175] explained, and which in the modern form of the an anomaly.” (I don't know if this changes the meaning)
~20:40 there is a humming sound in the background until around 21:21 (very slight)
~50:02 there are some slight bird noises in the back round to around 51:43
~52:55 there are a few seconds of bird noise
~55:29 there are a few seconds of bird noise
~58:00- 40 seconds of bird noise
The backround noises are very slight, so if there is nothing that can be done about them that is alright!
I will listen to another section tomorrow.

Hi TB27.
I see you have not posted to the forums (and specifically to this project thread) since July. Please respond if you are still around and interested in completing this project. You have some PL notes to address. It also seems we may need another new DPL here since PhoebeD also hasn't been logged on the forum since mid August. I will post in Listeners Wanted for a new PLer and see if we can get the rest of the files PL'd. Meanwhile, I hope to hear from you so that we can wrap this up and get the project cataloged.

The Listeners Wanted ad is missing the link to the project thread. I’ll help out over the weekend if a dpl doesn’t claim. Is the reader still around to make corrections?
