Greetings -

All sections up to Chapter 12 have now been listed as OK. Keep up the good work.

I see what you mean about the book getting racist. If you had a list of the top ten racist stereotypes about Native Americans, I think the book has used at least half of them. I agree with the use of a disclaimer. Should we put one at the beginning of the audio recording?

Reading a solo effort means you can follow the story in chronological order. A nice little perk.

Yes, it is racist to the extreme. I think I might move on from these childrens' series that feature white moms staying home and dads working with two perfect but mischievous children who are kind to minorities. There have to be other "niches" to get into reading after this book. :)

I thought the disclaimer was up already, but I didn't check. I'll look into it later (after pt appointment and orthopedist and some other crap.)

Thank you for your hard work,

Nan

Greetings -

Well, a bit longer to get to these than I had hoped.

Chapters 16-19 have been duly enjoyed while listening to them and have left me hungry for roast corn. Campfire roasted corn is, indeed, as good as the Brown family and Tom make it out to be.

All are definitely PL OK.

Lomond, it DID sound very good! And as for time constraints, do we really have any crushing ones? It took me a while to get the last chapters read.

I appreciate you offer of freedom of time, but a rarity has occurred this weekend and I have some unappropriated parcels of time (wordy way of saying I have nothing to do). So, I will try to finish them today.

As a matter of fact, Sections 20 and 21 are PL OK.
