Two more:

Chapter 25 (20:25)

Chapter 26 (21:28)

Can't work out how it's going to end . . .

25-26 PL OK.

I either know from the beginning or am clueless to the very end. The latter in this case.

So here are:

Chapter 27 (corrected start)

Chapter 28 (37:01)

Chapter 29 (9:40)

Perhaps surprisingly, I didn't find the ending too mawkish or silly. I think he is actually a very good writer who deserves proper recognition. anyway, I've enjoyed the book and may well do another of his. As always, many thanks for your help.

However, next I'm going to do 'Clayhanger' by Arnold Bennett - I've been asked by a listener to do this as I've done the other three in the series and she particularly asks for it! I hope you will be able to join me again, Dave. I'll post in due course.

I would enjoy the opportunity to do another book with you. Either put my initials (dc) after the author's name in the subject line (see above) of your post in the Launch Pad or in a second post indicate that I've agreed to be the MC. Rather busy today so it may be awhile before I finish this one. And I agree, a well written book.
