Tom:

You are most welcome. Two notes for Section 11. At 3:25 the word "with" is missing in front of the phrase "its suggestion of" (without it, the clause just dangles).

This next one is a bit picky at 4:32 there is a loud click in the recording. (I'll let you decide if you want to leave it in or not.

Many thanks,

Philip

You keep on picking away, my friend. I appreciate all your help.

I have found the missing "with" and will put it in. However, I'm not hearing the loud click you refer to. Eyeballing it, there is only the "c" in "peculiarities" that stands out as a possibility. Could you check the time, please, and maybe give me the sentence in which the click occurs?

Thanks!

Tom: it was the "c" in peculiarities, but it's not a big thing.

Many thanks,

Philip

For whatever reason, when I pronounce a hard C, it comes with a sharp leading edge that can spike well above the surrounding text. Usually I knock it down a little. I have done so at the spot you noted in chapter 11 (and, of course, added "with" where it belongs).

Chapter 11 is ready for spot PL.

As an added bonus, chapter 12 is also ready for PL.

Thanks for listening.

Tom:

Sections 11 & 12 are PL-OK! (Thought I had figured out why Ferguson is so slow....I mean waiting until chapter 12 for "The Story Begins." But it was not the story, but the story inside the story--so to speak. :)

Nicely done.

Many thanks,

Philip

Section 13 ready for PL.

Battle lines, already drawn, are underlined, highlighted, italicized, and cast in concrete.

Hmmmm Stafford seems to be quick on the uptake, except when it matters.......

You're over halfway home!

I just noticed that the section 13 filename has an uppercase S where it should be lowercase s. Thanks in advance for correcting.

To many years of unconsciously capitalizing peoples' names when I type.
Fixed. Good eye.
