I have a Zip file with the extract of each magazine that I`ve searched to get all the texts. As soon as i get a MC I`ll upload all the texts. They are all from different magazines published between 1904 and 1920

Hi Victor

I love Oscar Wilde and I have read all these stories in English already. So the understanding will not be an issue at all this time :9: I can DPL this and you know what: I will also MC it, you get yourself a two-in-one deal this time

Hey Sonia, great news you can do both things, you are really too kind. Each tale was translated and published in a different old magazines that i researched in national newspaper libraries (some are from Spain, one from Chile and one from Argentina) They don´t mention the translators, that´s why i didn´t specified nothing about them. Now I´m at work so i can' t upload the texts untill i arrive home) Thanks again. See you. The tales as far as I recall are the canterville ghost, the happy prince, the selfish giant, the star-child, 6 poems, the man who tales stories, La Sainte Courtisane Or The Woman Covered With Jewel and lady windermere's fan

oh ok, then, I suppose we are safe. The magazines are all PD and the translators unknown.

Lady Windermere's Fan is a stage play not a short story :hmm: Will you act out all the roles ?

I'll move us over to Going Solo now.

aha, yes that's a short story, and quite a sad one

oh that's quite handy, thank you. So these are the exact copies from the PD magazines, right ? I can PL from that text then ?

I noticed there are 9 stories and I predict The Canterville Ghost will exceed the time limit and may need to get cut into two parts. Not sure though. Maybe you need a few sections more in the MW, but you know how to add them, anyway.

Looking forward to the first tale :)

:(

I feel a bit lonely. Can I at least offer to post the collection of scans to Internet Archive as a single work? That may make it easier for others to find and access the material.

I personally find this is a good idea, MaryAnn :)

Victor, before the forum goes down, I wanted to tell you, I downloaded your first chapters. The first chapter starts already very well. I looove the contrast you are putting in your voice when you speak for the very British and calm Lord Canterville, and then immediately after, the boisterous American Otis. Excellent voice-acting ! The Americans are so funny here.

I would have one note though:

> the intro is different, you forget to mention the section number. Also I would say “Seccion numero 1” and not “capitulo 1” because you have sections from different stories and these are not necessarily chapters.

> Likewise I would also say “fin della seccion primera” at the end. Because after Canterville is over you will not continue with Chapter 6 or 7, but with a new section for a new story. :hmm: What do you think ?

Section 2 is sooo funny when Otis gives the ghost his oil-can  Well read once again. And I almost understand everything by now.

> same note for the intro: Section number is missing
> same note for outro: Section would be better than chapter

yes it seems there is a problem with the uploader. It's not just in this case, but we all have the same problem. They will get to fix it, once our IT is online again.

For the moment, don't upload anything, and try again in a few hours maybe. I will check your two remaining sections, and later on Spot check the new intro/outro.

Section 3: I pity the poor ghost here. He doesn't have an easy job with the Americans

apart from the Intro/Outro, which you will change anyway, I also noticed another error:

> at 16:56: (p. 181) “donde le encontro” stumble and repeat, can be cut out once

the rest, prefectly read again
