I'd really like us to have version of the Book of the Courtier and Galateo. I'd be happy to help out as a reader on a group project, but I'm feeling a bit overcommitted right now on my solos. Of the two I thin Galateo is funnier, because one is The Courtier is theory (have good manners), and Galateo is practice (don't blow your nose on the tablecloth).

[ADOPTED] Galateo : or, A treatise on politeness and delicacy of manners / addressed to a young nobleman from the Italian of Giovanni de la Casa. is at https://catalog.hathitrust.org/Record/000704165 and the Courtier is at

I'm also interested in a Treatise of the Court, bvt it if typset in Iacobean English and it's a hard slog for people not used to the lost of the letters j and U, and the addition of a second s. :D

I have finished one of my Venice books, so I'm going to pitch Galateo as a group project.
