This 1922 novel is written in a form of letters from Ellen Carsters to her best friend. Ellen travels to Glasgow to start a career as a music teacher, but falls in love with the literary world- against the more convenshenal views of her family and friends. As this novel is written in letters from one lady to another, I think it would be best suited as a solo. Here is a link to the etext:

I'm interested in being involved if this is adopted. I recently listened to Carswell's Open the Door and loved it!
