Famous Men of the Middle Ages by A. B. Poland ( - 0) and others.

The story of the Middle Ages is told through the lives of Attila the Hun, Charlemagne, William the Conqueror, Edward the Black Prince, and Joan of Arc, among others. Famous Men of the Middle Ages guides students through the turbulent “dark age” of history and illustrates the transition from the end of ancient times to the birth of the modern era. ( )
  • Text source (only read from this text!): http://www.gutenberg.org/files/3725/3725-h/3725-h.htm
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Rich, this would be the second recording of this book for LibriVox. I just thought you might be interested.

LibriVox welcomes lots of voices and interpretations, so this is not a problem.

We are encouraged to read some sections on other projects before beginning a solo. It reall6 does help everyone - you gain some experience in how the processes work, and PL etc. Not trying to discourage you from a Solo, just better all around.why not, for exa, ole, put this one up as a New Book suggestion? Or, read a few shorter sections on a group project before embarking on this?

I can just move it out of the launch pad till you are ready, then you wouldn't lose what you have already done, and any admin can move it back when you ask. Is that OK with you?
