John Wilmot was a poet and libertine, whose riotous lifestyle repeatedly got him in trouble with the throne. This book was written by a clergyman who attended him on his deathbed. It gives a brief account of the Earl's life and of his deathbed confession and conversion to Christianity.
Note to those who may be interested in this book: This book is printed using the "long s" character. You know, the s that looks like an f? For that reason, as well as the fact that there are almost no breaks, I believe this would be more suited to a solo reading than a group project. There are two prefaces, followed by about 160 pages without a break, then a conclusion.
