An older request for more Thoreau in the Suggestions led me to make a quick list of works currently available on Project Gutenberg that haven't yet been recorded for Librivox (as of January 2019), in case someone is looking around for some Thoreau to record:

Canoeing in the Wilderness: http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/34990 [Underway as a solo]

Cape Cod: http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/34392

Excursions: http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/9846

Excursions, and Poems: http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/42553 (some poems have probably been recorded individually)

Familiar Letters: http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/43523

A Week on the Concord and Merrimack Rivers: http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/4232

Wild Apples: http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/4066

Is it possible to snag Canoeing in the Wilderness? I've yet to do an entire project on my own and would need a little coaching as to the exact process, assuming this is acceptable.

There's no pre-booking or similar thing with any LV projects, people can start any PD book anytime even if someone else has done it, is doing it or has posted saying they are going to do it. Many readers would prefer to add something new but that is purely their personal opinion not LV "policy".
If and when you want to start a solo just go to the "Launch pad" and follow the instructions in the sticky in it's first post to the best of your ability , then you will be guided down the path when it's needed
