Title: "Boche and Bolshevik: Experiences of an Englishman in the German Army and in Russian Prisons"
Author: Hereward T. Price
Year of Publication: 1919
Publisher: John Murray, London

DESCRIPTION:

A short (243 pages) account by an Englishman of being conscripted into the German army in the First World War, being captured by Russians, and escaping overland to China. Price was a contributor to the Oxford English Dictionary.
The book has over a thousand views on Internet Archive and would find many listeners, I think.

READABILITY

3-4/5, suitable for beginners as a group project or as a solo.

I am not planning to do this project myself, but thought it would be a fun and informative Librivox project generally.

My best,
