Hi Carolin, I would like to read this book if still available. It would be my first solo book, but the size and topic feels perfect.

If you head over to the New Projects Launch Pad, click on "Want to start a solo recording?" That will have the information you need to set up a solo project.

Or here's a direct link to the thread: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=13513

Has this book been recorded? I search the library and looks like nothing has been posted. If so, I might want to take it on solo. Where’s the best place to find this piece of work? Couldn’t find it in a Google search. Thanks! 👍🏼

Welcome!

A link to the text is in the first post of this thread.

The wiki, linked at the top of each forum page, has a lot of information. Specifically, the Newbie Guide to Recording is a good place to start.

We do STRONGLY encourage a one-minute test (LINK) to check your technical settings. It's not an audition, but to make sure you're exporting at the correct bit rate, have your recording in mono, etc.

That's where you start. After that, you can sign up for projects in the Readers Wanted sections of the forums. Please get your feet wet and all the wrinkles in your system worked out before embarking on a solo.

Have fun!
