The City of Fire Minister’s daughter loves childhood friend, but what will it take for him to see the light?

Lo, Michael! He is rescued from NYC slums when he is little, and returns as a man to give hope to others.

The War Romance of the Salvation Army Actual stories from the front about the many women and men who served in this way and their influence. (This might be a good GROUP project)

I believe there may be a few others PD that are not on Gutenberg, I’ll have to check later.

She wrote a gazillion books. So yes, there are going to be plenty not in the catalog yet. :)

I've got the texts for 12 of her books in a folder on my computer, as well as about 20 Pansy books. And that's just the tip of the iceberg for what they wrote!

Some others:

Here is a list of her books by date. So everything through 1922 is PD in the US. :D

Thanks for the archive links, I had not looked there.
I’ve read all I could get my hands on (iBooks).

(update: now all through 1923)

Everything 1922 or earlier is PD.

I will be starting Dawn of the Morning As a collaborative project if anyone is interested :) [FINISHED]

I just wrote this from summaries I read online so it may not be 100% accurate. but...

Dawn is despised by her stepmother and neglected by her father and badly mistreated by both. She is sent to school, where she is the star pupil and also the head mischief maker. However, she is very popular with everyone there. After she completes school, she narrowly escapes an arranged and unwanted marriage to the villain of the story and 'accidentally' marries the his brother. Scared and confused, she runs away after the ceremony. Many adventures follow her on her journey to becoming a lovely independent woman.

Found PD copies of some more:

Because of Stephen Another one of GLH's western adventures. Young woman travels west to keep house for her brother. However, he has failed to mention he now has a partner...

The Red Signal "When David Stevens, engineer on freight No. 5, snatched Hilda Lessing from the path of a fast express, he did not know that there was the making of a heroine in her slender frame, nor that fate was to entangle this simple child with himself in a web of plots and danger, from which she was to rescue them at the risk of her life."

If you want to keep it tidy you can edit your first post - just click on the little pencil. You don't have to though there are arguments for either approach, editing the first post so it's all in one spot, and posting "I've added more to the first post" sort of does both.
