This looks really interesting as part of the World War I retrospective. It's written by an African-American about the role of Negro soldiers in the various WWI campaigns. I pulled it out of the African-American authors thread because I think it has relevance this year particularly! I'm not the person to BC this book, but I'd read the ANZAC chapter if someone else did it!
