That's wonderful Adraya.

There's info here on starting a solo recording: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=13513

When you are ready, just follow the instructions in that post to start a new project.

Hi Chuck,
I am replying to your thread. I would like to start recording some of Paul Lawrence Dunbar's work. I want to claim Candle Lighting Time. Please let me know if I can proceed with my recording.

Are these books listed available to read for Librivox?

Yes, the books listed in the first post are all Public Domain in the US and can be read for LibriVox. If you are outside the US, then it's important to watch the author's death dates to make sure the books are Public Domain where you are. In some places, works only enter the public domain 50-70 years after the author dies.

Should we claim here? I would like to claim The Garies and their Friends by Frank Webb. I plan to set it up tomorrow on New Projects. If that is ok. Jim
