I am wondering how an audiobook format would work for one of the Choose Your Own Adventure books. You know, the kind where it says "If you decide to kiss the princesses, turn to chapter 17. If you decide to leave the princess unkissed and cross the bridge, go to chapter 23" [where of course the ogre under the bridge will eat you], etc.
Earliest book of this sort is supposedly "Consider the Consequences" from 1930 (based on the wikipedia article at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gamebook ). Anyone able to track down something earlier and PD?
Thanks, Todd

A Gutenberg or archive search for a book with the title (or words) "choice" or "consequence" might lead to something.
