paul is living the life of a recluse. though he is still somewhat young, his wife has tragically died and he has distanced himself from anyone during his grief and now cant really get out again. but then one day a stranger brings him a distant relative, an orphaned boy. guy hilliar has nobody in the world but paul, and begins to turn his world upside down right after arriving.
