Amalia : a romance of the Argentine
by Mármol, José, 1818-1871; Serrano, Mary J. (Mary Jane), d. 1923

this is an interesting adventure novel set in argentina in its civil war era at the end of the 1800s. i knew nothing of that period, and indeed i was thinking of something that happened much later when the preface was speaking of the reign of terror in argentine.

it would be awesome to get this book into the catalogue to cover that period of argentinian history (at least in fiction) too :)
