I have an old manual without any copyright info on it, other than 'printed in China', for an obsolete portable TV set. Would that be considered public domain? PG has a couple of other manuals on there for a vintage motorcycle, etc. I can see hobbyists being interested in such a project. Manuals for land-line phones, dot-matrix printers, tape recorders, manual cameras, phonographs, stuff like that.

You'd have to get it copyright cleared at PG. We wouldn't allow it/them here without clearance.
